The John Glenn soccer girls are doing great in the tournament. After their victory against Beaver 2-1, they are one step closer to being State bound. They have worked really hard trying to accomplish their goals this season. This team is all about heart and dedication, on and off the field they are family. Through their ups and downs, they have never lost hope. These girls are so much fun to watch.

“One player does not make a team. A team is a group of players willing to put the time and effort to achieve great things. The John Glenn Lady Muskies are just that. With open fields starting in March and practices starting in July, every girl has dedication and puts effort into all of the practices,” says Jenna Rice.

They have each others backs, and they don’t have to worry about messing up because they know that their teammates will pick them up.

These girls practice everyday to get their chance at glory. No matter how cold it is outside, rain or shine, they are on that field working and working to strive to get better.

Molly Eubanks offered, “ We’ve got what it takes but it will take all we’ve got, as said on the back of our warm-ups. For the John Glenn Lady Muskie Soccer we are just that, I’ve never met a group of girls that has had as much desire and talent as this years team. We don’t take anything for granted.”

When you have talent that’s one thing, but when you have talent and hard work that’s another. Entitled to nothing but grateful for everything.

In the regular season, they won the MVL, and their state rank is now 30.  The girls play on Tuesday at Saint Clairsville against New Philadelphia at 7pm. Show up and show out, GO. FIGHT. WIN!
